Chris Marvin
Executive Advisor
Chris Marvin is the principal for Marvin Strategies, a strategic communications firm specializing in cultural advocacy through socially-minded narrative building for organizations and campaigns. He is the founder and former executive director of Got Your 6, a campaign to advocate for accurate portrayals of military veterans in film, television, and popular media. He served for seven years as a U.S. Army officer and Black Hawk helicopter pilot and is a combat-wounded veteran of the war in Afghanistan.
Forest Eber
Executive Advisor
Forrest is a co-founder and Managing Partner for Intersection Ventures, a boutique advisory and investment firm that focuses on sports business and start-up investment opportunities.
Prior to co-founding Intersection Ventures, Forrest served as Chief Financial Officer for Orlando City Soccer Club. Eber has also served on Louisville City FC’s Board of Directors, the Office of the C.E.O. for the U.S. Soccer Federation where he served on the Executive Committee operating the 2003 FIFA Women’s World Cup, and as CFO and Associate Commissioner of the West Coast Conference (WCC) from 2011-13.
Eber grew up in Northern California and graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in Economics.
Shawn Branch
Executive Assistant
Shawn brings over 25 years as an experienced specialist in a range of business, philanthropic and government settings. Shawn is currently CEO and Founder of SVBranches, Inc, a virtual executive assistant company. Prior to that, Shawn served as Director of Operations for the Insight Education Group, and Executive Assistant to the CEO of StudentsFirst and Chancellor of the Washington, DC Public School system. Shawn specializes in sales, management, social media, human resources. He earned his B.S. in Management from Morgan State University.
Chloe Smith
Communications Manager
Chloé facilitates the development and implementation of communication strategies for Lotus. Her passion for storytelling and relationship building is utilized through brand creation and social platforms with the objective of creating transparent and thoughtful connections to unify visionaries and activate change to positively impact the community. She earned her B.S. in Strategic Communication and International Studies from North Dakota State University.
Evan Rambo
2020-2021 MBA Fellow
Evan Rambo is a second-year MBA candidate at Texas Tech’s Rawls School of Business. He attended UC Berkeley, graduating with a B.A in Legal Studies, while playing four years of collegiate football. Rambo was born and raised in Los Angeles, California where he first developed his love of sports rooting for the LA Clippers. His affinity for sports has intersected with many other active interests, such as business and technology. Rambo’s years of athletic competition have become a springboard to understanding how sports can impact the various sectors of government, policy, economics, and race.
Andrew Dinh
Summer 2021 Intern
Andrew Dinh is a rising junior at UC Berkeley studying Business Administration with a minor in Data Science. Andrew has previously worked at fintech startup, Tellus, and will be at Salesforce this summer. On-campus, Andrew works to empower Bay Area small businesses as the Vice President of Consulting for Microfinance at Berkeley, a student-run nonprofit group.
Andrew is also passionate about youth business education, mentoring middle and high school students through Berkeley Haas-sponsored extracurricular programs. Born and raised in the Bay Area, Andrew enjoys trying new restaurants and rooting for the Golden State Warriors.
Dave Smith

Dave is Partner and CEO of X Sector Labs, and Co-Founder of CalOZ. He is a social entrepreneur, coalition builder, convener, systems thinker, and cross sector leader. He is a problem solver who sees great opportunities brilliantly disguised as insoluble problems. By connecting his executive experience from the nonprofit, government, and business sectors, he helps leaders and organizations turn good intentions into greater impact.
